Ramadan Calendar 2017

Seher O Iftar Dua

Ramadan is a time of enhanced religious devotion and self-examination. Fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. The month of blessings has started in Pakistan on June 19, 2017 (Friday) and will leave us on Saturday, 18 July, 2017. Insha-Allah, Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated on July 19, 2017 (Sunday) after the culmination of Ramadan.

English Pronunciation:“Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan”

Translation: “I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan” [abu Dawud]

When breaking the fast- “Iftar”

English Pronunciation: “Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftarthu”

Translation: “O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You [and I put my trust in You] and I break my fast with Your sustenance”
[abu Dawud]

Below is the Ramadan calendar with Sehr-O-Iftar timing (schedule).
